Jesus asks this question in Matthew 6 verse 27.
"Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
The Greek word for worry means to "to be drawn in different directions". No wonder worrying pulls people apart.
It is a scientific known fact that people that don't worry as much live longer lives than people who do worry.
The reason for this is because God created us for faith and not worry. Everything in our bodies from our organs, tissue, cells are all created by our maker who wired us for faith.
If we live with worry we are going against the nature of how God created us.
What are you worried about today? What can you give away to God and allow faith to override your worry?
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. - Philippians 4:6.
